Pennsylvania Avenue is one of the most recognized boulevards in the world. Delivering US Presidents to the White House and Mayors to City Hall, it is a continuum of social and political change – a place where big things happen. It is therefore fitting to bring this great sport of nations, to this great American street, in this great country's Capital.

These races will be carbon neutral thanks to a generous donation of renewed energy credits from local green energy broker Clean Currents.

Please consider helping to reduce global warming by carpooling, taking mass transit, or riding your bike (the ultimate carbon-free mode of transportation). Alternatively, consider donating towards the purchase of green tags to offset the carbon emission attributable to this event.

While registering for the event, if you would please indicate the approximate travel distance from your home to the race as well as the mode of transportation, Clean Currents will provide energy credits to offset the carbon emissions produced in an effort to keep this event carbon neutral.
